During the rainy season, the water coming down from the Shivalik hills brings water to Sukna Lake. Sukhna Lake falls in Sector 3 of Chandigarh and here thousands of tourists from abroad come to visit this Sukhna Lake every day. Many times tourists walk only from the entry side of Sukhna Lake, but today we will explore that part of Sukhna Lake where only different types of birds and animals come.

As you enter the Sukhna Lake Wildlife Sanctuary, you will get to see a very beautiful scene as if you have sat in a quiet place away from the hustle bustle of the city. Here you can see different kinds of beautiful birds and animals, if your luck is good.

As you go further, you will see traces of deer and many more animals on the ground. There is not a lot of tourists about this area, so you might not see too many people here.
